The Unique English Classroom (UEC) is more than an enrichment center. It provides endless opportunities to children to reach their dreams even at a young age. This competition does not only challenge the creative writing skills of the children, but it opens doors to have the opportunity to travel to Singapore. The grand winner will also get a chance to be trained by no less than UEC Philippine Head and UEC founder, Catherine Khoo.

The qualifiers from UEC Marikina to the National Competition are already in. They are:

Story#9 Change of Fate written by Mayer June C. Abelinde Story#14 Untitled written by Verna Ivy D. Verceles Story#11 Written in 2050 written by Jeanne Chloe Soriano

Winners will automatically compete in the National Competition on February 22-23, 2020 at The Mind Museum. The sole winner who is the First Young Author Philippine Champion will go to Singapore for the UEC International Awarding Ceremony.

Wait, there's more!

The Readers' Choice Award is given to Keona Ricci L. Tagumasi for garnering 64% of the votes. She is a wild card and gets the chance as well to compete in the National Competition.

Great work guys! Not to pressure you but looking forward that one of you will get the opportunity to fly to Singapore to receive the first ever Young Author Philippine Award!
