Preparing for a Competition

The International Singapore Math Competition (ISMC) is participated in by most of the schools with Singapore Math. But how does the kids prepare for it?
Most schools would prepare the child a few weeks before the competition. Some parents prepare the child a few days before the competition. A Math Competition is something that you don't prepare for overnight. You need time to prepare the kids, moreso, expose the kids to questionnaires that more or less they would encounter in the competition.
At S.A.M. Marikina, we entertain reviews but we suggest at least three (3) months before the competition, that is starting December until a week before the competition. After which, the child needs to have enough rest, before the competition itself.
Although we really do not encourage short term enrollment, we do accommodate these requests once in a while. But no guarantees given. Below is a comment from one parent whose child we helped for the ISMC Competition.

We thank you for the trust and we are looking forward to a Gold or Silver next time around!
